Once your page is created, it can be moved anywhere within your website.
For example, if you add a "Links" page, which you want displayed before "Contact" on your menu, then moving the page "up" the list of pages will also move it on the menu. Similarly, you can make any page the child of any other page, and any child into a parent page.
Movement of pages is managed in the Admin>Pages (or Admin>Tabs) window. The following steps would allow you to move the page mentioned above, "Links" to display before "Contact" in your menu.
- Find "Pages" under the admin menu, and click on it. This will bring up the "Pages" window.
- A list of every page on your site will be displayed. To the right is the heading "move pages". Below this are several arrows. If you have just added the page "Links", and have not specified a parent page, it will be displayed at the bottom of the list (and the end of my menu, save for Admin).
- Select the "Links" page on the list by clicking on it once.
- Clicking on the up arrow (under "move pages") will move the page up one level. Similarly, you could click on the "Contact" page, and use the down arrow to move it below "Links". Either way, you have just moved a page in DNN.
