Pages that appear on the main menu are parent pages. Pages that appear only when the menu is opened are child pages. New pages will be parent pages by default, however you may change that status for any page anytime.
To change the parent/child relationships of specific pages, follow these steps:
- Go to Admin>Pages.
- The up and down arrows to the right move pages up and down the menu order. The left and right arrows make the pages parents and children respectively, of whichever page is above them.
Pages can also be made child pages by navigating to the page in question, and clicking the "Settings" button under "Page Functions" on the Control Panel. You can specify a parent page on the Page Management window and click "update".
