Before you start this process, evaluate the file size of the image you want to post online. Some experts say to keep the total page weight around 80 KB or less. To do that, you'll have to resize your images to keep their file size small.
1. Use your photo editor of choice to resize the image to around 40KB or less. Most images from a digital camera are over 500 KB to over 1 MB or more, so you have a long way to go to get it down to size.
Hint: If you try to set the width to around 200 or less pixels, you will be getting the total file size closer to the target.
2. Then go to your web page, add a new “text/html” module if necessary.
3. Click "Edit Text" on the module that will hold the image, then click where you want the image to be so the curser blinks there.
4. Click on the small tool that looks like a mountain and setting sun on the toolbar (Insert / Edit Image)

5. The Image Properties window appears.

6. Click on the "Browse Server" button. This will show you the images that are already uploaded to the website server. You will need to grab an image from your hard drive and upload it to the server. Go to the next step for that.
7. In the Image Gallery. Click on the “Browse” button at the top right. At this point, you are browsing your own hard drive or network in order to find the image that you want to upload to the server.

8. Select the image to be uploaded and click the “Open” button.
9. Then click the “Upload New File” link at the top right. This will actually upload the image to the server.
10.Then click on the image you uploaded. The "Image Properties" dialog box opens again with your image loaded.

11. Type in your target width and height numbers. The border will put a black border around your image. If you want a black border, try a small number in this box around 1 or 2. Larger if you like.
12. The HSpace and VSpace options will bump the text that will be next to your image away a bit so you have a little white space between your image and the text. Use 10 to 20 or so in both these boxes if desired. These measurements are in Pixels.
13. To get your text in the module to wrap around your image, open the Align drop-down and choose one of the options in there. “Left” is the most commonly used choice.
14. Click the “OK” button. That puts your image in your text module.
15. If it is too large. Click the image once, then drag a corner handle towards the center of the image to reduce it’s size. Be careful, you can easily make an image out of proportion with this technique.
Note: Resizing an image this way does not affect the download file size. If this is the only technique you use to make your photos smaller, the total page download size will probably be way over target causing slow pages in your website.
16. "Update" the module to save your changes.
