To create a Calendar on any page, by using the Event Module there is more flexibility with content.  This module renders single and recurring events and includes Master and Sub Calendars with Event Rollup, TimeZone Adjustment, Event Enrollment, and Event Notification.

Select Settings to enable the module.  Several setting options can be opened and utilised.  The first being Basic Settings, this shows Permissions, then Advanced Settings, Page Settings, and Events settings.  Open Event Settings + and ensure Permit Recurring Events and Enable DNN Search boxes are ticked.  The rest of the options can be used as per the site user, usually they are not used.  Update.

From the drop down box choose Add Events. Title – name select from the options Start Date/Time, End Date Time etc, being very careful to make sure the correct dates are used.  Add in the text box more detail of event.  
Image Settings will allow you to select a URL link or file on your Site.   This option is not normally used.

Recurring Settings. For this option you can choose daily, weekly, monthly annually.  It also important here to make sure the correct options and dates are selected or it will not work as you would like.  Always ensure the Repeat until date: is filled in, it will not let you Update until it is. The edit the event for spelling or incorrect date the easiest way to is to Click on event, then Edit. Change content.
